From my rescued and reimagined collection.
I love these plates and was delighted to find an unloved stack of them - which had never even been used. Devastating but they lend themselves so well to being painted so I’m painting one at a time to give them a new life and use.
I still have some so am open to commissions and colour suggestions.
The paint is on the underside so does not come into contact with your food.
As it’s an old item, it does may some signs of wear (thought I’ve not spotted any on these) but to me that’s part of the beauty of its journey.
Wipe with a damp cloth and cool water. I have tested these paints and they hold up fairly well to hot water, soap and scrubbing in all honesty but it will degrade them slightly so please err on the side of caution and be gentle.
